Possession is my second novel, written in about three months. I took inspiration from a trip to Massachusetts for a wedding, where I saw Hammond Castle from the deck of a boat on a whale watching tour. I spent some time trapped in an escape room a month later... and Possession was born!
Readers might see parallels between the opening chapters and Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None". If you know me, you know that I am a massive Christie fan. I think I have just about every book she ever wrote on my bookshelf.
Possession was my most challenging novel to write so far, with the multiple character's POV and my first attempt at writing a full novel in 3rd person. The sequel is due to release in the next year, and it is even darker and spicier... I can't wait to share it with you all! -A.C.
